  • Licensed Veterinary Technician

Hi! I’m Bonnie, a Licensed Veterinary Technician.

I earned my degree in veterinary medicine and subsequent licensure in 2022, after working in the veterinary industry for 5 years throughout the United States. Prior to this, I worked in shelter medicine in central California, where I gained an affection for the “less than agreeable” animals that came into our care. I have a growing list of fostered and rehabilitated dogs and cats who I have had the pleasure of helping.

I love my job, maybe a little more than I should. I would probably work myself to death if allowed. I am passionate about learning, and working at Sterling Veterinary Clinic allows me to learn something new every day.

When I am not working, I am at home with my family and pets. In the summers I enjoy hiking and exploring all things nature. I have dogs, cats, frogs, snakes, fish, and perhaps the best of all… CHICKENS! Our family of pets and fosters is ever evolving and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

I have worked with Dr. Pierson and Dr. Mullen at other clinics in the past and I am so excited to be working with them once again.

I can’t wait to meet your pets!

  • Licensed Veterinary Technician

I have been a technician for nearly ten years and have been loving every minute of it. My career started out in Edmonds WA but has moved north since we bought our first home in Mount Vernon a few years ago. My passion is in surgery and snuggling fluffy kitties whenever possible! My husband and I have two beautiful daughters and many fur babies at home (chickens, horses, rag dolls and a rather large Shilo shepherd). In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and horseback riding whenever the weather permits!

  • Veterinary Assistant

My name is Crystal, I am a proud Veterinary Assistant who has had the privilege of working with Dr. Mullen and Dr. Pierson at previous clinics and I am thrilled to be part of their team at Sterling Vet Clinic!

I am a lifelong animal advocate and wildlife enthusiast with over 15 years of experience in animal care, rescue work, and shelter medicine. I made the professional transition to private practice Veterinary Medicine 5 years ago, though I remain heavily involved in the local animal rescue community. I am a passionate foster mom for dogs and puppies through a few local animal rescue groups. I sit on the board of directors for Saving Pets One at a Time (S.P.O.T.) I also run their spay and neuter assistance program, which aids the pet parents, dogs, and cats in need throughout our community.

I am a dog mom to a variety of awesome rescue dogs including the special needs Frenchie, Edna, who is usually attached to my hip and strongly believes that she is my actual child. I love my revolving door of foster pets and have a special interest in dog behavior, psychology, and training. My soft spot lies with the misunderstood pups and underdogs who need just a little bit of extra special care. I have also recently entered the exciting world of chickens and share a growing little flock who I adore!

  • Veterinary Assistant

I'm Kaylee Miller, a dedicated veterinary assistant from Okanogan, Washington, with a lifelong passion for animal care. I love working with animals of all kinds, including livestock, dogs, cats, exotics, and pocket pets. I have a special passion for helping anxious animals feel comfortable and secure. With numerous years of experience in the veterinary field, I strive to create a welcoming environment for both pets and their owners. Outside of work, I’m a proud mother to my young son, Beau, and together we enjoy outdoor adventures, including hiking and archery. I look forward to helping your beloved pets thrive!

  • Client Service Representative

"Cat lover, plant enthusiast, and busy parent! I’m the proud owner of four playful cats and three energetic amazing kids. When I'm not scheduling appointments, you can find me nurturing my plants and listening to music.

  • Client Service Representative

I have worked in veterinary medicine for almost 26 years as a client service representative. I was so pleased to join Sterling

Veterinary Clinic's wonderful staff, most of whom I have had the pleasure of working with in the past.

I have been with my sweet husband Cliff for 27 years. We have 3 grown kids and 10 grandkids. We also have 2 dogs, Bindi a Border Collie/lab cross and Thor a pittie mix. We have 1 old rescue cat Pi and an axolotl Miss Goldie.

In my free time I love to go camping in our vintage trailer and overlanding/exploring with our

rooftop tent. Other pastimes include gardening, baking, beach combing and just spending time with friends and family.

  • Account Manager

Hi, I’m Kylee Knight, a dedicated bookkeeper with a love for helping businesses stay organized and succeed. I grew up in Mount Vernon, where I met my husband, Michael, during our junior year of high school. We both played sports throughout high school and college, and now we’re proud parents to two wonderful kids, Kimber (8) and Colton (5). Our family is rounded out by our two Australian Shepherds, Lucy and Scout, who keep us busy and active.

With years of experience in bookkeeping and secretarial work across various industries, my favorite job by far has been working for veterinarians. I love the unpredictability of the day, always excited to see which animals I’ll get to interact with, whether it's playing with them or helping out behind the scenes. Growing up, I was heavily involved in 4-H, showing rabbits and dogs, which ignited my lifelong love for animals.

When I’m not working, you can find me enjoying the outdoors, whether it’s hunting, fishing, or going on long runs with my dogs. I also love baking, crocheting, and playing volleyball when I’m indoors. Life is a mix of family, passion, and adventure, and I bring that energy and dedication into everything I do, both at home and at work.
