Ashley Janz is pleased to be co-opening and operating Sterling Veterinary Clinic.  With a lifelong commitment to veterinary medicine, as office manager for the clinic, you will also see her behind the desk in reception and working on the floor directly with your family pets. 

Long-term Skagit County resident, Ashley grew up in Anacortes where her passion with animals began while participating in 4-H and raising guide dogs for the blind. She currently resides in Burlington, WA where she developed her veterinary career in multiple practices across Washington state, Skagit county always been home.

Ashley will bring Sterling long-term experience working in veterinary medicine as a veterinary assistant, training manager, exam room lead and her biggest passion: client service specialist. Ashley has years of experience in personal dog boarding, walking and medical home visits.  

As a working mom of two beautiful daughters, Brylie and Emerie, her goal is to create a strong family dynamic within Sterling. She hopes to create a safe and comfortable place for the community to bring their pets. 

When Ashley is not at Sterling, you will likely find her at the soccer fields, dance studio, at the YMCA swimming, and the basketball and volleyball courts with her kids. 

You may also see Ashley playing volleyball both indoor and on the sand or hiking the trails, fishing and hunting with her lifelong partner, James. 

Many pets have touched her life over the years both professionally and personally. Lost too early was their family dog who was the goofiest hunting dog around, Blaze the German Shorthaired Pointer. Despite being a bird dog, he didn’t seem to mind sharing his backyard with their 6 chickens. Their newest family member is a rough and tough, fluffy, 15 pounds Cavapoo named Biscuit.
