Sterling Veterinary Clinic offers a wide range of laboratory tests that can be evaluated in-clinic for same-day results, or sent out to our reference laboratory, Idexx Labs.

These tests may evaluate blood, urine, feces, or other bodily fluids or tissues to help us determine why your pet is sick, detect certain diseases to ensure appropriate treatment, or even to establish a normal baseline on your healthy pet!

Diagnostic testing is a keystone in evaluating the internal health of your pet and for catching certain diseases early, before your pet is exhibiting symptoms.

We require bloodwork on all patients prior to undergoing anesthesia, all patients taking chronic medications, and we recommend at least annual lab work on all senior-aged pets.
